Step 1: Select either “Gifts” on the homepage or “Gifting” on the top navigation bar to browse through our beautiful collections.
Step 2: Then, choose the item(s) you’d like to gift by clicking “Add to Cart”
Step 3: Next, select the Cart icon on the top right hand corner of the page to review your order, and then proceed to check out.
Step 4: Enter the required details: customer and recipient information, delivery details, and the note you would like included in the card (it will take you less than a minute!)
Step 5: Finally, make the payment on our secure Sampath Bank payment page.
Thereafter, you will be directed on to your order confirmation page (you will also receive these same details via a confirmation email!)

For items belonging to the same-day delivery category, if an order is placed before 2pm, we will deliver the gifts within the day. If it is placed after 2pm, it will be delivered the following day.
For all other items, the earliest delivery date will be 02 days from when the order is placed.

If you are trying to place your order from overseas, (and if it is your first time ordering with Silver Aisle), it would be best to reach out to your local bank as they sometimes have measures in place to block the first transaction to an overseas merchant due to security reasons. We have found that this resolves most payment related issues.

Yes! We work with Sampath Bank to make shopping online safe. Sampath Bank holds all credit card information securely and no credit card information is held by us or accessible to us at any point.

At the onset, couples simply create an account on our website, which instantly becomes their very own, customizable registry.
They are then able to browse through our extensive portfolio of products and select the items that appeal to them – we recommend doing this a couple of weeks prior to sending the invites out (while you’re welcome to do this even a couple of months before invites are sent out, please note that certain products may go out of stock)
Couples select the ‘Go Live’ option on the registry while their invites are being delivered to guests to make the registry accessible.
Guests can then access the registry, choose an item of their liking, and purchase it online (and write a personalized note to the couple whilst they’re at it!)
Keep close tabs on the registry in the next few weeks.
As guests commence purchasing the listed items, the couple can continue adding more items to the registry
Once the registry is closed, enjoy free delivery, courtesy of Silver Aisle 3-4 weeks after the wedding!

Whether it’s in place of an unavailable item, classic travel gift cards, or any other product on our site, we do not offer cash as an alternative. Store credit is designed exclusively for use on our platform and cannot be redeemed directly at any of our partner outlets. We understand the importance of flexibility, and our team is always here to assist you in finding the perfect item from our extensive collection.
Unfortunately, our policy restricts the direct use of store credit for purchases from vendors. Store credit is exclusively designed for acquiring items featured on our site and cannot be utilized for transactions with vendors, including Silver Aisle.
The fluctuation in product prices can be attributed to various factors. If the item is imported, changes in currency rates and shipping fees may contribute to price adjustments. Additionally, vendors may occasionally revise their prices, and the new price reflects such changes. Please be aware that periodic price revisions are a normal part of the industry, and Silver Aisle reserves the right to update and manage inventory accordingly.

You will then by directed to our wedding registry section, in which you can select “Start Your Registry” to enter the relevant details to create your account. You will receive a confirmation email thereafter with key information and helpful tips. Then, start adding items to your registry from our extensive product portfolio.
Simply select “Add Items to Registry” on your registry homepage to be directed to our extensive online product portfolio. Alternatively, select any of the featured categories on the website– e.g.-Kitchen & Dining–– to view products. Items can be filtered by category, brand, colour, and price. Once you see an item you like, select ‘Add!’

We advise couples to Go Live with their registry closer to the wedding date because, understandably, it is not fair to request vendors to keep products on hold for too long.

Absolutely! Certain items such as towels, robes, and ben linen can be customized to include the couple’s initials or a phrase of their choosing. Items eligible for this will have a “customizable” tag on their product tile.
The “Our Story” page allows couples to share photographs, an anecdote on how they met, or simply a thank you in advance to their guests –The manner in which the page is used is entirely up to the couple. Alternatively, if couples are not too keen on sharing any information, the Our Story page will simply not appear for guests.

Absolutely! Guests can only access your registry via the code you share with them.
Unfortunately, once an access code is created, it cannot be changed.
If you’ve invited 300 guests, around 50-70 gifts would suffice to start with. This still leaves plenty of extra items to choose from. Keep an eye on your registry in case gifts sell out fast and more need to be added!
This feature allows couples to highlight their most desired pieces by clicking the heart option on the product tile. These items will be filtered to the top of the registry and will clearly signal to the guests as to what to buy if they are undecided!
There are many ways! We mainly recommend sending it along with your invite. Alternatively, you can include the link on your wedding website or publish it on a Facebook group.

All gifts purchased get filtered to the bottom of the registry and are marked as sold – both guests and couples can view this. Additionally, the notification tab––for the couple’s view only––on your registry reflects a live view of which product has been purchased, by who, and when. Couples can also download this entire list once the registry has closed to refer to when writing thank you cards.
Yes! As each item is purchased, we will be notifying the vendors of said purchase. In that instance, if we are informed that the product is out of stock, we will convey that to the couple and propose a beautiful substitute. If the couple isn’t satisfied with the substitute, the funds will be stored as Silver Aisle Credit and can be used to purchase another item
To make high ticket items a reality, multiple guests can pool towards one item. All items over Rs. 40,000 are automatically enabled for the pooling feature. Once a guest contributes a certain amount towards the said item, that will be reflected, and other guests will be shown the amount outstanding.
If a gift hasn’t been paid for fully, couples have the option of paying the remainder themselves or they can receive the pledged amount as Silver Aisle credit to purchase another item(s) on their registry.
The registry will be ‘Live’ for your guests until two weeks prior to the delivery date. Couples can still access the registry after it’s closed to the public and finalize any pending pooled purchases if any. They also have the option of buying any unpurchased items themselves.
Please select the “Close Registry” option on the settings page. Alternatively, a registry will automatically close 3 months after the date of delivery.
Yes- If you’re looking to complete a kitchen set or just pick up a couple of items that you’ve been eyeing you can purchase them directly on Silver Aisle.
We don’t charge guests or couples for standard delivery – consider it our gift to you! However, if a couple lives beyond the greater Colombo region, there will be a small delivery fee incurred by the couple. Furthermore, there may be minor charges incurred by the couple for transporting larger items such as a fridge or a sofa. Any items where a delivery fee may be incurred will clearly be marked on the product tile and payment will have to be made prior to delivery.
For items sourced from local brands, 3 weeks after the wedding date––or alternatively, on a date thereafter specified by the couple.
Imported items and made-to-order furniture will take 4-5 weeks to arrive in Sri Lanka, and will thus be delivered a month after the wedding

Return policies vary depending on the policies of each vendor – Silver Aisle will not take responsibility for returns or exchanges.

Guests can access a registry by simply selecting “Registry” on the Homepage and then selecting “Find a Couple” on the landing page.
Then, type in the access code provided on the invite.
Guests will instantly be directed to the registry, following which, they can select an item to gift or contribute towards a larger item eligible for pooling.
Finally, proceed to checkout, pen a personalized note in the process and pay for the item online.
Silver Aisle handles delivery and all gifts will be wrapped and adorned with the personalized note

Once you gain access to the registry, simply click on the product that you would like to purchase, select “Checkout,” and enter your payment details. You will receive a confirmation email once the transaction has been successfully completed.
At the checkout point, guests have the option of writing a personalized note to the couple that will accompany the gift. If you opt out of sending the note, the couple will still be notified of who purchased the said item through their notification section.
The pooling option enables multiple guests to contribute towards a big-ticket item(s). Guests do not need to coordinate with others to do so and can do it themselves. If the item does not have enough funds to be purchased, the couple will be given the funds needed as Silver Aisle credits and can then either pay the remainder for the completion of the purchase or use the credit to buy other unpurchased items on their registry.
Yes, they will be notified of your contribution and the amount via their notification setting – don’t worry, only the couple can see this!
In the rare event that this occurs, the funds will be stored as Silver Aisle credit, which will be given to the couple, who can then purchase another item of their choice.
